What to expect at your Bridal appointment

Bridal appointments for trying on wedding gowns are an exciting and memorable time for a bride. We want your visit to A Bridal World to be stress-free and enjoyable, as you wedding gown is one of the most important parts of your ceremony. Here are some guidelines so you know what to expect on your visit to our boutique. 

• Visits are by appointment, so we can set aside time with a bridal consultant just for you. Bridal appointments typically last about an hour and a half.
• A Bridal World is a full service salon, which means we help you every step of the way. We help choose the gowns to try on, we help you into the dress, and we help you accessorize your gown. 
• We ask you to fill out a registry, which is not shared with anyone outside our doors, nor posted on the internet, and all information about you is kept private. ​
• A Bridal World is a closed stock salon. That means that our bridal gowns are stored in our bridal vault in back, so making an appointment first is vital. Your consultant will find out what kind of dress you're searching for, and will bring out gowns for you to view and try on. We currently have over 900 wedding gowns in-stock.
• Our stock is mainly comprised of private label gowns, and we have many styles that are one of a kind, and not seen in other bridal shops in the Triangle. We have gown selections for sizes 2 through 32, which are not sample gowns, and are available for immediate purchase that you can take home with you today.
• A Bridal World carries short gowns, destination gowns, traditional gowns with trains, and gowns with detachable trains. Every dress is individually bagged, thus protecting them from hand oils and from snagging on nearby dresses. This ensures that every dress is in its best condition for you to purchase.
• Accessories like crinolines, bridal belts, sashes, jackets and gloves are available and are stored in our bridal vault; please ask your consultant if you would like to see any of these selections. 
• Special incentives are available for brides who purchase on their first visit, and we have extended payment plans available for qualified brides.
• Due to copyright laws, and for the privacy of other patrons, we do ask that no photographs be taken during your visit. If you are purchasing your gown, we can share your try-on photos with you, as you will become the owner of that gown. We often take some photos while you try on, which helps you see better how the gown fits you.
• Brides are asked to bring up to 3 guests to their visits. It is exciting to share this event with family and friends, but too many guests can make for a hectic experience; plus, too many opinions may be shared that may not reflect what your heart says.
